MY STORY
From The Beginning...
Born in the enchanting city of Portland, Maine, Scott Pettingill was blessed with a nurturing and loving family. Alongside his two brothers and sister, he grew up where the bonds of kinship were cherished above all else. The treasured moments spent together, such as embarking on camping adventures at Three Mile Lake, remain etched in his heart. Reflecting on these experiences, Scott draws strength and inspiration that has guided him throughout his life.

However, the greatest joy in Scott's life manifested with the birth of his son. Though born prematurely, weighing merely 4.5 ounces, the miraculous sight of his newborn son nestled in the palm of his hand left him awe-struck. The precious time spent with his son holds an unbreakable place in his heart, paralleled only by the warmth and love he shares with his entire family.

A New Path...
Scott's path led him to venture into the trucking business in the spring of 1989, a mere two years after graduating from high school. Living on a farm with twelve horses and juggling two jobs, fate intervened when a television commercial caught his attention one afternoon. Intrigued, he contacted a truck driving school, and the very next day, he found himself at the facility. With the aid of two government loans, he embarked on a transformative journey through the training school, earning his commercial license upon successful completion. In August of that year, he has traversed the roads of 35 years, driving his truck across the expanse of the United States and Canada, from the snowy north of Maine to the sun-kissed shores of San Diego, from the vibrant city of Miami to the idyllic landscapes of Cache Creek, British Columbia.

Following The Call...
During his lifetime on the road, the call of music persisted within Scott's soul. Relocating to Florida in 2017, he stumbled upon a keyboard store. Guided by sounds, soon began taking piano lessons. From that moment forward, as his fingers played across the piano keys, a deep and abiding love for the instrument blossomed within him.

The culmination of Scott's musical journey originated from his serendipitous encounter with Hands in Motion Music School & Productions in Brandon, Florida. Every aspect of this musical sanctuary, from the administrative staff to the passionate Instructors and devoted owners, pulsates with an unwavering love for music. next to the last paragraph should read in this portion: His mentor and piano instructor, and producer, Grammy® award-winning keyboardist and Latin Grammy® award-winning Producer, Lannie Battistini, alongside the company's marketing team, were the catalysts in propelling Scott forward on his musical journey. Scott holds immense gratitude for the day he stepped foot into this music school—a place where he is reminded daily of the extraordinary individuals who tirelessly nurture the love of music.

Today, Scott travels as a Highway Explorer with his truck and trusty piano accompanying him on his journeys. Music pulsates through every fiber of his being, allowing him to explore uncharted territories and weave a tapestry of melodies that resonate with the human spirit. With unwavering determination, he endeavors to leave a mark on the world. Embracing the belief that through shared experiences and heartfelt communication, we can propel ourselves forward on this fleeting journey called life.
